Service life up to 400 years
The system is made of a material with an exceptionally long life and stays functional for many generations.
Stabilplastik
A modern solution for stormwater management that combines immediate load-bearing capacity, major cost savings and sustainability thanks to production from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. The Stabilplastik infiltration system offers fast installation, exceptional load capacity and an extremely long service life – an ideal choice for developers, towns, municipalities and industrial sites.

Suitable under green areas and under fully loaded roads – including heavy machinery traffic.
The low construction cover allows installation even where building height is limited.
A modular retention and infiltration body with practically unlimited installation depth and high load capacity.
Rainwater is released gradually and under control back into the ground without overloading the sewer system.
Infiltration system
The Stabilplastik infiltration system is a reliable underground retention solution for green areas and paved roads alike. It keeps full operation going and can be loaded immediately, even by heavy machinery.
Rainwater is safely captured, stored and gradually infiltrated back into the ground. The system thus supports the natural water cycle, saves sewer capacity and contributes to the sustainability of the whole project.
The modular structure made of recycled plastic pallets allows the shape and volume of the infiltration body to be adjusted flexibly to the exact requirements of a given construction.

The system is made of a material with an exceptionally long life and stays functional for many generations.

Thanks to its clever design and materials, the system is up to 50% cheaper than traditional drainage methods.

The system can be fully loaded right after installation, even with heavy construction or freight vehicles.

After installation the system needs almost no service, which significantly lowers long-term running costs.

The modular design makes assembly easy and significantly shortens the time needed to complete the project.

The system can be adapted to project requirements, including shape, volume and structural load.
Circularity
All Stabilplastik products are made from 100% recycled mixed plastic waste. At the end of their life cycle we take our products back and make new products from them with zero waste.
This process can be repeated indefinitely without any loss of quality. In this way we process almost 4 million kilograms of plastic waste every year and contribute to a sustainable circular economy.

The volume of the infiltration body is designed according to the retention capacity (1 m³ = 9 pallets). A compacted base layer of gravel about 5 cm thick is then prepared and the first layer of EP08R pallets is laid.

Further layers of EP08R pallets are then stacked using the rim stacking system. EP08PD pallets with a solid deck are used as the top layer. Three to five layers in total are recommended.

After the final layer is laid, EP08 pallets can be added on the sides to define the body. The whole structure is then covered with geotextile and backfilled with a layer of fine gravel.

EP06 pallets, which stabilise the structure, are placed on the geotextile. The structure is then backfilled with fine gravel and the top structural layer of aggregate, grading 0/32, is created.

The finished infiltration body is fully drivable and allows loads of up to 600 kg/m². If needed, further structural layers can be added to the system, for example an asphalt or concrete surface.

The infiltration system is open and uses standard sewer manholes for inspection and connection points. This greatly simplifies design, ensures easy availability of parts and makes long-term servicing easier.
The system is cleaned through a manhole on the top of the structure. The infiltration body can simply be flushed, which allows efficient maintenance without complicated interventions.
The system is designed primarily as a retention and infiltration space that safely captures rainwater and lets it gradually infiltrate back into the ground.
Because the height of the structure can be reduced while the infiltration area is increased, the system is also suitable for locations with poorer ground permeability.
The modular design makes it possible to build the infiltration system gradually, in individual stages, exactly according to local conditions and the time or financial possibilities of the project.
The modular design of the infiltration system allows it to be assembled and handled without heavy equipment. This significantly lowers implementation costs and makes installation easy.
