On January 16, 2023, our company in Měšice u Prahy was visited by the Deputy Minister of the Environment of the Czech Republic, Mgr. David Surý, senior director of the environmental protection section.
Mr. Surý was very interested in our production, where Stabilplastik can process up to 4,000 tons of mixed plastic waste per year, while 100% of waste from production and overflows are returned to production. Mixed waste plastics make up to 80% of the volume of yellow containers. This is hard-to-recycle waste that currently ends up in landfills and incinerators. Stabilplastik is an example that even such waste can be processed into products that are qualitatively superior to their replacement and are also 100% recyclable.
